What is DBT?

❤️ Dialectic Behavior Therapy is one of the many services we provide at our practice. DBT is an evidence-based treatment initially created to address the suffering experienced by individuals with various behavioral conditions.

DBT adjusts to comprehend the underlying issues that cause distress and difficulty regulating emotions. One of the critical dialectics in DBT is that of balancing acceptance and change.

❤️ Clients learn to radically accept their present-moment experience and make congruent changes with their perspective of life worth being present during treatment. DBT teaches that there are always multiple ways to help you move away from black or white thinking and other extreme positions.
